Maxim and Stefan Ivanovi, NEVEREST: Despite the difficulties, giving up was never an option

We are more than happy to announce that our friends – the 17-year-old Maxim and his father Stefan have arrived in Bulgaria after their expedition in the Atlantic Ocean was completed successfully. The two adventurers set a world record and several first-time achievements after rowing across the Atlantic on NEVEREST – a boat they built themselves.

In order to welcome the two heroes properly, we organized a special press conference at Maxim’s school –St. George International School&Preschool. The event was attended not only by a number of journalists but also by the classmates of the young sailor. The 17-year-rower was presented a special medal for bravery by his school and his father was awarded a recognition plaque.

Maxim’s mother – Zheni and his little sister Lara also took part in the press conference. Both girls didn’t stop supporting the two enthusiasts and helping them for the expedition.

During the event, Maxim and Stefan said that despite all obstacles and difficulties they never considered giving up their dream to cross the Atlantic Ocean.

That is why we admire them! Thank you, guys, for inspiring us to look for our Everest!
