Westinghouse to Bring a Clean Energy Future to Bulgaria with 17 Local Partners

Westinghouse Electric Companysigned memorandums of understanding with 17 significant Bulgarian suppliers to support the upcoming AP1000® nuclear projects at the Kozloduy NPP site. This milestone happened at a special event at the Bulgarian Academy of Science and is a result of ongoing engagement with local suppliers following the Westinghouse Supplier Symposium held in February 2024 in Sofia. M3 Communications Group, Inc. had the pleasure to organise both key events.

 

Westinghouse signed MOUs with 17 impressive local suppliers, whose partnerships represent another step toward bringing additional advanced, nuclear technology in Bulgaria and emphasize the economic impact that the project will have for the country and local communities.

 

David Durham, President of Westinghouse Energy Systems said that the growth of their local and qualified supplier network is an important step that is to pave the way for Westinghouse to bring a clean energy future to Bulgaria for generations to come.
