Historical Moment for BTL Industries in Bulgaria: Official Opening of #Vladaya production plant in Plovdiv

On June 19, 2025, M3 Communications Group, Inc. in partnership with its long-time client BTL Industries, organized the official event to celebrate the opening of BTL's new high-tech manufacturing facility in Plovdiv. The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Bulgaria – Miroslav Toman, Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria Doncho Barbalov, Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth of the Republic of Bulgaria Krasimir Yakimov, as well as representatives of business, diplomatic corps, academia, architects and media.
BTL's new plant ranks among the largest Czech investments in Bulgaria, at nearly 100 million BGN, and is the company's only logistics and manufacturing base for finished products globally, with more than 40 000 medical devices manufactured in Plovdiv exported to over 120 countries worldwide.
The total built-up area of the manufacturing facility exceeds 29 000 sqm and features automated and robotic production and warehousing systems, modern office spaces, training centers and its own park with leisure areas. The production plant is situated within walking distance of the centre of Plovdiv and is accessed by specially constructed cycle lanes, providing easy access to work for the BTL employees, who currently exceed 710 people, and the new production base will enable the creation of up to 500 new free jobs positions in Plovdiv.
