A New Chapter for Bulgaria’s Energy with the Third Westinghouse Supplier Symposium
November, 2025Westinghouse Electric Company held its third Supplier Symposium in Sofia in November, welcoming over 200 representatives from nearly 80 Bulgarian companies. The event highlighted the strategic importance of the AP1000® project at NPP Kozloduy, emphasizing localization as a core objective to transform Bulgaria into a regional energy hub.
Key officials, including Deputy Minister of Energy Georgi Samandov and U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Martin McDowell, joined Westinghouse leaders to discuss how local firms can integrate into the global supply chain. With over 35 MoUs already signed, the project aims to create a robust industrial ecosystem, generating high-paying jobs and economic growth for decades.
For the third consecutive time, the team at M3 Communications Group, Inc. was entrusted with the comprehensive organization of this high-level symposium. Our team ensured the event's success by managing:

- Outreach: Engaging and inviting leading Bulgarian companies and industry organizations, as well as media.
- Execution: Providing full on-site event management and logistics, and extensive media communication.
