HONOR and M3 Communications Group, Inc. Transform Sofia Ice Rink into an Arena for Extreme Testing

A spectacular ice show, extreme tests beyond imagination, and a rush of adrenaline – this is how the year began for the team at M3 Communications Group, Inc. In late January, we took on the challenging task of realizing one of the most unconventional tech events of recent years. Under the motto “Durability at a New Level”, our agency transformed a Sofia ice rink into an extreme testing ground for the official launch of the new HONOR Magic8 smartphone series.

The overall concept and logistical execution of the event were entrusted to our team, which turned the smartphones’ technical specifications into a true spectacle, complemented by the graceful performances of professional figure skaters. The highlight of the event was a unique activity for the Bulgarian market – the HONOR Magic8 Lite was frozen inside a massive ice block to prove its unwavering resilience. In front of dozens of journalists and influencers, the device underwent a series of “survival tests”, including being used as a tool to hammer nails, demonstrating the power of the Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop technology.

In the dynamic setting of the ice rink, the innovations of the flagship HONOR Magic8 Pro were also showcased, featuring a 200 MP AiMAGE camera that captured every detail, proving that the series operates flawlessly even under extreme conditions of -30°C. Our goal was to step outside the boundaries of a traditional presentation and offer an experience that matches the bold spirit of HONOR. Go, HONOR. Go Beyond!
