June, 2026Eight Bulgarian student teams will represent the country at Shell Eco-marathon 2026 – one of the world’s most prestigious competitions for energy efficiency and engineering innovation.
Ahead of their departure to Poland, the young engineers showcased their vehicles during a special demonstration event held at A1 Motor Park. Guests had the opportunity to explore the teams’ projects up close and learn more about the technologies behind their innovative designs.
The event brought together representatives of institutions, educational organizations, partners, and the media. A special guest was Filip Lazarov, founder of bri4ka, who delivered an inspiring message to the participants.
The Bulgarian teams will compete with vehicles powered by electric batteries and hydrogen fuel cells in the Urban Concept and Prototype categories. Their projects feature a wide range of innovative solutions, including ultra-lightweight structures, highly efficient electric systems, and intelligent technologies for energy management and optimization.
Between June 24 and 28, the participants will present their vehicles at Silesia Ring in Poland, where they will compete against more than 130 teams from across Europe.
M3 Communications Group, Inc. was proud to support Shell Bulgaria in the organization and communication of the event, which encourages the development of young engineering talent and promotes sustainable mobility solutions for the future.
