From Plovdiv to the Rhodope Mountains: BTL Industries Expands Access to Modern Healthcare

In 2026, BTL Industries took the initiative in organizing two significant CSR initiatives aimed at improving access to modern healthcare for children and patients living in remote regions across Bulgaria.

As part of its long-standing commitment to social responsibility, the company donated state-of-the-art medical equipment to the Department of Pediatric Surgery at University Hospital “St. George” in Plovdiv, as well as its latest electrocardiograph using AI, the BTL ECG 4, to Dr. Snezhana Bakarova, a general practitioner based in the village of Smilyan who provides medical care to patients across more than 30 settlements in the Rhodope Mountains.

Both initiatives reflect BTL Industries' commitment to investing not only in innovation but also in long-term social impact by supporting healthcare professionals and improving access to high-quality medical care in Bulgaria.
