Maxim Behar Among the Top 10 Inspiring Leaders in 2026

Bulgarian PR expert and businessman Maxim Behar has been included in “Top 10 Inspiring Men You Should Know in 2026”, an international selection published on MSN part of Microsoft Corporation. The feature traces key achievements throughout his career, from founding M3 Communications Group, Inc. to leading international professional organisations and being inducted into the Global PR Hall of Fame in London.

The article presents Behar as an entrepreneur, international speaker and author whose work connects communications, business and diplomacy. Highlights include his lectures at Harvard and universities across Africa, Asia and Europe, as well as his book The Global PR Revolution.

His professional journey began in journalism, working in newsrooms in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Poland. In 1992, he co-founded the Standart newspaper, and two years later established M3 Communications Group, Inc. Today, he serves as the company’s CEO and Chairman of the Board. For more than three decades, the firm has worked in public relations and media communications.

His international career led him to the presidency of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation (ICCO), a position he held from 2015 to 2017. Today, Behar leads the World Communications Forum Association (WCFA), based in Davos, Switzerland. The organisation brings together communications professionals and business leaders from different countries to exchange experience and ideas about the future of the profession.

In 2017, Behar became the first Eastern European inducted into the Global PR Hall of Fame in London. The MSN feature also notes his inclusion in PRWeek’s Global PR Power Book and his service on the advisory board of the Museum of Public Relations in New York. His international honours also include PRWeek’s recognition as Best PR Professional in Europe in 2020 and 2022.

Diplomacy is another significant part of Behar’s work. Since 2004, he has served as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria. The MSN feature highlights the recognition he has received from Lithuania, Seychelles and the Czech Republic for his work in journalism and diplomacy, reflecting another dimension of his career beyond the PR industry.

His inclusion in the selection draws international attention to a Bulgarian professional who combines running his own business with an active role in the global communications community. His career brings together entrepreneurship, education and international cooperation, fields in which he continues to contribute as a consultant, speaker and author.
